Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js to support the development of backend services for a mobile field data application. The role involves building and maintaining APIs for data synchronization, field content submission, and offline-to-online integration workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js for mobile app consumption
• Handle data synchronization workflows for offline/online transitions
• Manage file export functionality (e.g. field zone maps, user annotations)
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless data flows and system integration

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of backend development using Node.js
• Experience building secure and scalable APIs for mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, Express.js or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud storage integration and file generation (e.g. JSON, CSV, shapefiles)
